PRIVACY POLICY
Last Updated: July 2026
Soacems LLC runs the website www.soacems.com, and this page explains what happens to your information when you shop with us or simply browse around. We know privacy policies aren't the most exciting read, so we've tried to keep this one clear and straightforward rather than full of legal jargon. If anything here doesn't make sense, feel free to reach out — we're happy to explain.
Section 1: What Information We Collect
Some information you give us directly, and some gets collected automatically as you use the site.
What you share with us:
Your name, shipping address, and billing address. Your phone number and email. Payment details at checkout (handled securely by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card number). A record of your orders and any messages you send our support team. Your account login info, if you choose to create an account.
What gets picked up automatically:
Your IP address and the type of browser you're using. How long you spend on the site and which pages you look at. Your device and operating system. What you searched for, or which site sent you to us. Cookies and similar tracking tools (more on this in Section 7).
Section 2: What We Do With It
We use your information to get your order processed, packed, and shipped; keep you updated with confirmations, shipping notices, and tracking numbers; answer your questions and help with any customer service issues; handle returns, exchanges, and refunds; watch for fraud and keep the site secure; improve our products and how the website works; send you occasional emails about new arrivals or offers, but only if you've opted in — and you can unsubscribe whenever you like; and meet our legal obligations where required.
Section 3: Your Consent
By giving us your details to place an order, arrange delivery, or process a return, you're giving us permission to use that information for those purposes.
If you'd rather we didn't, you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing contact@soacems.com or calling +1 (302) 629-1109. Just keep in mind that without certain information, we may not be able to complete an order or provide some services.
Section 4: Who We Share It With
We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The only times we share it are: with the people who help us run the business — our payment processor (like Stripe or PayPal), shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx), and our email service provider — and only what they need to do their part; if we're legally required to, for example by a court order or government request; if Soacems LLC is ever sold or merged with another company, in which case your information may transfer to the new owner; or when it's necessary to prevent fraud or protect our rights.
Section 5: Keeping Your Payments Safe
Every payment goes through a secure, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. We never store your full card number on our servers, and all payment data is encrypted using SSL technology while it's in transit.
At checkout you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, or other available payment methods.
Section 6: How Long We Keep Your Data
We hold onto your information for as long as it's genuinely useful or required — mainly to keep your order history accurate, meet our tax and legal obligations (usually up to seven years), and sort out any disputes if they come up.
If you'd like your data deleted sooner, email contact@soacems.com and we'll take care of it within 30 days, as long as we're not legally required to keep it longer.
Section 7: Cookies and Tracking
Like most online stores, we use cookies to make the site work properly and to understand how people use it. Essential cookies keep basic things running, like your cart and login session. Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) help us see how visitors move through the site. Marketing cookies help us show you relevant ads. Preference cookies remember your settings, like language or currency.
You can turn cookies off through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as smoothly if you do.
Section 8: Third-Party Tools We Use
A few outside services help us run the store, and each has its own privacy policy worth a look if you're curious: Google Analytics, for understanding site traffic; Stripe / PayPal, for handling payments; WooCommerce and WordPress, which power the store itself; and our shipping carriers, for delivering and tracking your orders.
Section 9: What You Can Ask For
You're entitled to see a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that's wrong or incomplete, ask us to delete your information, opt out of marketing emails any time using the unsubscribe link, and get your data in a portable, exportable format.
Just email contact@soacems.com and we'll help you out.
Section 10: A Note on Children's Privacy
Our site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone that age. If you think a child has shared personal information with us, let us know and we'll remove it right away.
Section 11: How We Protect Your Data
We take reasonable, industry-standard steps to keep your information safe — SSL encryption across the site, PCI-DSS-compliant payment handling, and regular attention to security. That said, no system connected to the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we can't promise perfection, only that we take it seriously.
Section 12: Links to Other Sites
Occasionally you might come across a link to another website while browsing ours. Once you leave our site, their privacy practices take over, not ours — so it's worth checking their policy before sharing any personal information.
Section 13: If This Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time as our business or the law changes. Whenever we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you're okay with the update.
Section 14: Extra Rights for US Residents
Depending on which state you live in, you may have additional privacy rights.
California (CCPA/CPRA): you can find out what personal information we collect and how we use it, ask us to delete it, opt out of any sale or sharing of it, correct inaccuracies, and you won't be treated differently for exercising these rights. We don't sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.
Virginia (CDPA): you can access, correct, delete, or request a copy of your data, and opt out of it being used for targeted advertising.
Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states: similar rights may apply to you under your state's privacy law — access, correction, deletion, and opting out of certain uses of your data.
To use any of these rights, just email contact@soacems.com. We aim to respond within 45 days, with the possibility of a further 45 days if needed for more complex requests.
Section 15: Get in Touch
