Privacy Policy
SOACEMS LIMITED (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through soacems.com and Soacems AI Content Engine, why we use it and your rights. We are the data controller. Our registered office is Unit 15 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Lytchett Matravers, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA, United Kingdom (company number 17514274).
Data we collect
- Account and order data: name, email address, billing address, order details and the license keys issued to you.
- Payment data: payments are handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive confirmation of payment and limited card details such as the card brand and last four digits, never your full card number.
- License activation data: when the Software checks a license, it may send the license key and the website address where it is installed.
- Support data: messages you send us by email or phone.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider and essential cookies needed for the shop, cart and account to work.
Data we do not collect
Content you create with the Software and the AI provider API keys you enter stay on your own website. Requests to AI providers are sent directly from your website to the provider you choose and are governed by that provider’s privacy policy.
Why we use your data
- To process your order, deliver and manage your license (performance of a contract).
- To provide support and send service emails about your order or license (performance of a contract).
- To keep records for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
- To prevent fraud and license misuse and keep our website secure (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not send marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them.
Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that help us run the business: our payment provider (Stripe), our hosting provider (Hostinger) and email delivery services. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are in place.
How long we keep data
Order and invoice records are kept for six years for accounting purposes. Account and license data are kept while your account is active and then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email contact@soacems.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We use essential cookies for the cart, checkout, login and security. We do not use advertising cookies.
